Three years later, Ichika, now in her second year at university, spends her days not knowing when the end will come.

One day, she happens to meet Akifumi Manki, a former philosophy lecturer who has quit university.
Ichika's feelings flare up once again when she meets Mr. Banki, who had a crush on her.
