Product Description The Seibu 6000 series is a vehicle that appeared in 1992 in preparation for a mutual direct operation between the Seibu Ikebukuro Line and the Tokyo Metro Yurakucho Line.
The Seibu Railway's only stainless steel car body was adopted and appeared as the first fixed 10 -car vehicle.
It features a style that is not on the Seibu train up to that point, such as installing an emergency passage that is compatible with the subway with the head bent in the kuno -shaped shape.
From 2014, driving equipment was renewed, and by 2019 it was applied to the entire train.
From around 2016, ventilators installed on the roof have been removed sequentially.

The "Seibu Yurakucho Line 40th Anniversary Vehicle" is wrapped in a color inspired by the 7000 series Subway Yurakucho Line, which was running on the Seibu Jurakucho Line at the 6000 series 6017 formation.
It is operating on the Ikebukuro Line, Sayama Line, Seibu Yurakucho Line, and mutual direct routes.
