The JR115 series 1000 series "Setouchi Train" is a part of the "Setouchi Pallet Project" that aims to revitalize the region by creating new charms of the Setouchi area, and will treat the gentle sea and Tajima of the Seto Inland Sea. It is a wrapping train designed based on Seto Inland Sea Blue.
The wrapping was applied to the 115 series D07 formation belonging to the Okayama train ward (currently the Shimonoseki General Volume Okayama Train Branch), which was active after construction of the 30N -constitution improvement work. It was operated from March 2019 to 2023, mainly on the Bin Line, Uno Line, and Seto Ohashi Line (up to Kojima).
It is also characterized by the fact that the headlights were used in November 2020, and the gray of bogies and underfloor equipment was grayed.
