The Meitetsu 3500 series was a vehicle that appeared in 1993 as a successor to the previous commuter vehicle 6000 series (6000, 6500, 6800 series), VVVF inverter control, electric command type brake.
It is the main vehicle of Meitetsu that has been active as a high -performance commuter vehicle that includes new equipment such as the first adoption of the one -handle mascon and the realization of a 120km/h driving by improving the high speed performance.
The body is a three -door three -door sheet made of ordinary steel based on the 6500 series, with a skirt attached to the front.
In addition, the "ECB" logo indicating that it is an electric command type brake equipment is attached to the front.
From 2017, full -scale renewal work has been implemented, and in addition to updating the control device, full -color LED of the destination display, installation of door chimes, and renewal of in -car guidance indicators.
