Jungle Emperor" is one of Osamu Tezuka's most famous works, along with "Astro Boy. It was serialized in the monthly magazine "Manga Shonen" (Gakudosha) for four years from November 1950 to April 1954, and was published in book form at the time, but the final volume was never published and was discontinued in the middle of the series.
The work has been rewritten several times since then, but the original work has not seen the light of day for nearly 60 years. This edition of "Manga Shonen version Jungle Emperor" is a complete reproduction of the original manuscript from the "Manga Shonen" magazine serialization, including the color parts.
